Welcome to Walk In It!

 

We are John and Cassidy, a husband-and-wife duo with two sons, deeply passionate about making a positive impact in the world. In 2024, we founded Walk In It with a simple yet powerful mission: to provide clean, safe drinking water and nutritious food to small communities in Zambia.

Our journey began in 2023 when we traveled to Zambia and were deeply moved by the challenges faced by the people there. One particular village, home to over 300 people, left an indelible mark on our hearts. We witnessed firsthand the immense struggles these families faced, often walking for up to four hours through thick sand just to fetch water. The sight of that long, exhausting journey stayed with us long after we returned home. We felt called to act.

Not knowing exactly where to begin, we decided to take a step forward by drilling a well in that very village. That simple decision has since changed the lives of over 1,000 people, providing them with access to clean water right at their doorstep. From there, our mission grew. We’ve since drilled additional wells, partnered with three schools to create a feeding program for students, and launched a prison ministry to provide prisoners with basic toiletries and counseling support on a monthly basis.

Through all of this, we are incredibly grateful to God for placing this mission on our hearts and for the opportunity to serve. As a family, we dream BIG for Walk In It and are excited to see where this journey leads us. With your support, we are determined to keep making a difference, one life at a time.
